The endorsement bottleneck
Hazmat seats can’t be filled from the general CDL pool: the H or X endorsement, the TSA security threat assessment behind it, and your insurer’s experience floor all cut the market down hard. Generic lead vendors ignore that and sell you the same spreadsheet anyway — you find out at orientation who actually holds the endorsement. A hazmat slate should be smaller and better. The screening
Endorsements up front, not at orientation
Every hazmat candidate’s endorsement status is stated up front and sanity-checked in screening (your CRA does the formal verification — we’re not a consumer reporting agency, and driver qualification stays with you under 49 CFR Part 391). We also screen product experience, safety-sensitive tenure pattern, and equipment history, and the Fit Score weights shift accordingly. Below 70 never reaches your inbox.
The price

Hazmat placements are quoted at $3,000–$4,000 depending on endorsement requirements, product, and geography — flat, published range, milestone-billed (45% seated / 25% day 14 / 30% day 30) with the 30-day replacement guarantee.
