- The seat was laid off or eliminated
- No truck available within 7 days of orientation
- Job terms were misrepresented to us or the driver

Why pay a placement fee when job-board leads cost a few dollars each?
A lead isn’t a driver. Industry-average lead-to-hire runs about 1% (Apex published benchmark), so 100 cheap leads is roughly one hire — plus the week of staff time it takes to work them. Our flat fee buys the finished outcome: a screened, Fit-Scored, interviewed, seated driver, with most of the fee billed only after they’re seated and staying.
When do I actually pay?
$500 activation at signup (credited in full against your first placement), then 45% of the flat fee when the driver completes orientation day 1, 25% at day 14, and 30% at day 30. If a driver leaves before a milestone, that invoice never goes out.
What does the 30-day guarantee cover?
Driver quits or is terminated for documented performance cause within 30 days → free replacement, unbilled milestones cancelled. Exclusions (the whole list): you changed pay/lane/home-time from the written offer; layoff or seat elimination; no truck within 7 days of orientation; misrepresented job terms; termination without documented cause unrelated to performance. 60-day (+15%) and 90-day (+30%) coverage available.
Who makes the hiring decision?
You do — always. Alpha Driver Solutions is a recruiting service, not an employer of drivers, a motor carrier, or a consumer reporting agency. You retain sole driver-qualification and hiring authority (49 CFR Part 391) and run your own MVR, background, and Clearinghouse checks through your own CRA.
Is your driver outreach TCPA-compliant?
Yes: prior express written consent at application, STOP honored immediately, 8am–9pm recipient-local quiet hours, A2P 10DLC-registered numbers, and our AI assistant always identifies itself as an AI.
Do you charge drivers anything?
No. Never. Carriers pay the placement fee; drivers never pay anything, for anything.
